The group spends 4 days traveling to Riften from Whiterun. On their way they encounter bandits, rest, and new hunting friends. Upon arriving to Riften, the group settles in at The Bee n' Barb while Svaela meets with a contact about a potential meeting with the leader of The Thieves Guild, a meeting that she hopes will help point them in the right direction. She returns with news that the Thieves Guild leader will meet them the next day at dawn. With a full day ahead of them, the group takes a simple side job that turns deadly.
